How to use Parental Controls in Windows

Microsoft have released some guidelines on using the Parental Controls in Windows 7 and the Windows Live Family Safety software.

Interestingly they have gone down a similar path as Google (as mentioned in a previous post) of using employees who are also parents to demonstrate what concerns they have and how they use their own products to protect their own children at home – Microsoft call this “eating their own dog food“!

Parental Controls in Windows 7 is ideal for protecting your home computers, but is not available on notebooks used in Ivanhoe’s Notebook Program. You can read more about our Filter testing here.
