Man admits murdering Sydney teen he met on Facebook

I thought long and hard about posting this news. We don’t aim to be alarmist on this site, we aim to put forth a balanced view of the use of technology, of social media and of the need for digital responsibility and citizenship but it is important for Parents and Teens to learn from this.

Never, no matter what, ever meet with people you do not know and have not met face to face.

I’ll leave it to you to decide how much of this article  you wish to share with your teens, but regardless it is important to have the conversation and have it again even if you have had it before!
