‘Sneaky Hat’ CyberCraze – Dr Michael Carr-Gregg on Sunrise

Dr Michael Carr-Gregg recently appeared on Sunrise to discuss the latest cyber craze called ‘sneaky hat’. This involves young people posting naked photos online with only a hat to cover their modesty.

When asked why young people are doing this, Dr Carr-Gregg explains that it is all about getting your “15 megabytes of fame”! He also goes on to point out that this craze is illegal (for young people who are under-age).

This as a teachable moment  –  talk to your teen about internet safety.
