Guns, Boys and Facebook – A Teachable Moment!

Some say that the AOC have reacted too strongly by banning these boys from the Olympic Village after their event. But would you be happy if your sons posted a photo like this? What impression does it give of these boys? How would a potential employer view it? What about a possible real estate agent? A Scholarship Interview Panel? The Footy Coach? A future girlfriend? Your son’s children – your grandchildren? The police?

Your teens might say, ‘It’s not fair’.

Your answer: Being aware of your digital footprint and your digital reputation is your responsibility. Are other people’s perceptions fair – maybe not but they are out of your control if  you post a picture like this.
