SnapChat Pictures no longer Safe! Be warned!

Snapchat and SextingSome time ago I wrote about SnapChat fast becoming the most downloaded app with a reputation for being sext-friendly! I hinted that teens may not use it just to post funny cat pics, and that they needed to think about where their pics may end up despite the company’s promise that pics ‘vanish’ automatically in under 10 seconds. According to University of Michigan student and hacker Raj Vir, first reported by TechCrunch, it’s easy to sneak screen shots of incoming images without the sender ever knowing, and save them for later use. Beware and be warned.
